Year 5 had a great time last week in York. They visited the DIG museum and found out all about the role of archaeologists and even had a go at digging for artefacts themselves.

During their visit to the Jorvik centre they got to experience what life was like for the Vikings - even the smell! Back at DIG they took part in a workshop all about Viking battle tactics ; exploring the different weapons that would have been used and how the Vikings fought their battles.
